Without a Stunt, Illusion Spells only work on animals and humanoids, but not on undead, deadra, or automatons.

Novice Spells (Level 1)

Clairvoyance:

You can take a peek at your own destiny and get guidance from fate. Pay 1 Magicka point and roll against average (+1) adding your Illusion skill.

  • When you fail, you do not cast the spell and don’t regain the Magicka point.
  • When you tie, you gain a Boost in the form of a “Vague Intuition”.
  • When you succeed, you get 1 answer from the GM about your current situation, you gain a free invoke on it.
  • When you succeed with style, you get 2 answers with 1 free invoke each.

Courage:

Encourage a creature to stand up for itself and fight rather than cower and flee. Pay 1 Magicka point and roll against your target’s Magicka base adding your Illusion skill.

  • When you fail, you do not cast the spell and don’t regain the Magicka point.
  • When you tie, you grant your target a Boost.
  • When you succeed, your target gains your shifts as “Encouraged:#”, # diminishing by 1 each turn .
  • When you succeed with style, your target also gains a Stamina point.

Quiet Casting:

All spells cast from any school of magic are silent to others.

Master of the Mind:

Illusion spells now work on undead, daedra and automatons.
