Conjuration

“The School of Conjuration is used to raise the dead, summon creatures from one of the planes of Oblivion, and soul trap opponents killed in combat.”

Without any Stunt, you can only have one conjured, reanimated, or summoned creatures at the same time.

Novice Spells (Level 1)

Bound Blade:

You can summon a bound blade out of pure magic. Pay 1 Magicka point and roll against average (+1) adding your Conjuration skill.

  • When you fail, you do not cast the spell and don’t regain the Magicka point.
  • When you tie, you gain a +2 bonus to damage on your next attack—successful or not.
  • When you succeed, you summon a one-handed blade with a damage bonus of +2 for a scene or until you dismiss it.
  • When you succeed with style, your blade has a bonus of +4.

Conjure Familiar:

You can conjure a spirit animal that fights at your side. Pay 1 Magicka point and roll against average (+1) adding your Conjuration skill.

  • When you fail, you do not cast the spell and don’t regain the Magicka point.
  • When you tie, you gain a Boost on for your next spellcasting.
  • When you succeed, you conjure a “Spirit Wolf Familiar” with +2 Brawl, +1 Perception and 2 Health. The familiar disappears after the scene or when taken out.
  • When you succeed with style, your familiar has 3 Health instead of 2.

Raise Zombie:

You can temporarily reanimate a recently deceased being. Pay 1 Magicka point and roll against the creature’s top Skill adding your Conjuration skill.

  • When you fail, you do not cast the spell and don’t regain the Magicka point.
  • When you tie, the body completely decays but you gain a Boost on for your next spellcasting.
  • When you succeed, you raise the dead body with all its Skills but only 2 Health. The zombie completely decays after the scene or when taken out.
  • When you succeed with style, your raised zombie has 3 Health instead of 2.

Conjuration Stunts

Soul Stealer:

When you kill a living being with a bound weapon, you cast Soul Trap on it.

Twin Souls:

You can have two conjured, reanimated, or summoned creatures at the same time.

Oblivion Binding:

Bound weapons will banish summoned creatures and turn raised ones.
